TRMOD by b122251 is a tool to edit Tomb Raider levels. The program is available as a beta for now. This beta supports Tomb Raider 1 on the PC and PlayStation, and Tomb Raider 2 on the PC.
It is a tool for Windows and Linux. It will be able to modify
levels for TR1 (PHD and TUB), TR2, TR3, TR4, TR5. (TR4 and TR5 are currently not yet supported).
Its possibilities include (among others):
• Adding, Replacing and Removing Items. (Currently finished for TR1,2 and 3)
• Adding, Replacing and Removing Static Meshes. (Currently finished for TR1,2 and 3)
• Adding, Replacing and Removing Sprites. (Currently finished for TR1,2 and 3)
• Adding, Replacing and Removing Sound Sources. (Currently finished for TR1,2 and 3)
• Adding, Replacing and Removing Lights. (Currently finished for TR1,2 and 3)
• Replacing and Removing Floordata (this includes things like slanting floors, portals to other rooms and triggers). (Currently finished for TR1,2 and 3)
• Changing Alternate Rooms. (Currently finished for TR1,2 and 3)
• Flooding/draining a room. (Currently finished for TR1,2 and 3)
• Extracting and replacing audio samples. (Finished, TR1 only)
• Extracting and replacing demo data. (Currently finished for TR1,2 and 3)
• Converting between PHD and TUB. (Finished, TR1 only)
• Changing the height of the floor and ceiling in a sector. (Currently finished for TR1 and 2)
• Adding, Replacing and Removing Vertices. (Currently finished for TR1 and 2)
• Adding, Replacing and Removing Rectangles. (Currently finished for TR1 and 2)
• Adding, Replacing and Removing Triangles. (Currently finished for TR1 and 2)
• Adding, Replacing and Removing Viewports. (Currently finished for TR1 and 2)
• Moving Rooms. (Currently finished for TR1 and 2)
• Resizing Rooms. (Currently finished for TR1 and 2)
• Adding empty Rooms. (Currently finished for TR1 and 2)
• Editing Boxes, Zones and overlaps. (Currently unfinished)
• Making a list of all Items, Static Meshes, Sprites, Lights, Alternate Rooms, Sound Sources, Floordata, Boxes, Zones and Overlaps and writing it to a text file. (Both in the form of a nice readable format, and in the form of TRMOD commands) (Currently finished for TR1,2 and 3)
This program will be released (with its Source Code included) under the GNU General Public License 3.0.
The download will also include a manual in .pdf format, that gives detailed instructions on using the program.
