Hi tombraider4ever, thank you very much for accepting this interview and taking the time to reply to these questions.
Thanks for asking!

How did you become a fan of the Tomb Raider franchise?
I first heard about Tomb Raider through a friend who had played Tomb Raider 2 and liked it. My mother got a good deal on a PC through her work, so we got one. I bought the Tomb Raider Triology with the first three games and I also got Last Revelation witch just had been released. It was love at first sight with Lara, a beautiful, strong, badass woman with a great attitude and humor. I loved the game too with lots of exploring, a wonderful adventure alone in an exciting world. It was great to play 4 Tomb Raider games in a row for the first time and not have to wait for the next to be released.

How and when did you start creating some renders? What made you choose Daz 3D over other programs to create your renders?
I first started with photoshoping Tomb Raider images, and then I started with XNALARA and XPS. I still love XPS for it's so very userfriendly and you can make so much with it. When I started making meshmods I was totally hocked. I saw the wonderful Daz renders of Nicobass and lots of other talented people and wanted to try it but I thought it would be to difficult. I first tried it about a year ago and tried some tutorials, there are lots of things I still don't have a clue about in Daz but I love using it anyway.

How is the process to create a render? Where do you find your inspiration? How do you choose a background, a setting and a pose?
The process is different depending on the type of render, but in most cases I start with choosing a character (in most cases Lara) I then choose what skin and make up, hair and clothes I want her to wear. Then I make the pose, If it's a remake of a classic TR render I try to make the pose as close as I can. Then it's the scene, I have some scenery models but I prefer to make studio type renders with a backdrop and I can then choose a suitable light out a selection of ready made sets. I have begun to experiment a bit on my own to with lights. Then it's the rendersettings. A great tool in Daz is that you can get a preview of how the render is going to look like, it's very handy in choosing lights and surface materials. I find my inspiration in classic TR renders, at the Daz shop and gallery and at Deviantart for example.

Some of your renders are inspired from official Tomb Raider renders. Do you have a favorite render?
I have so many favourites among the classic official Tomb Raider renders, it's hard to pick one, but I think it have to be one from Tomb Raider Last Revelation as that FMV Lara is my fav.

Several Alice: Madness Returns renders can be seen on your deviantArt account. Are there other characters from other video games you'd like to render?
I would love to have Daz models of Jade from Beyond Good and Evil, Kate Walker from Syberia, Indiana Jones, Nathan Drake.

What are your projects for the future? Will Cyborg Lara make a return?
Young FMV Lara ( I have made some attemps at making her, but I am not so happy with it), Anniversary and Legend Lara and perhaps Underworld Lara. Cyborg Lara will absolutly make a return, Lara is the main reason why I bought that cyborg character, to get the material.
